About Us
Bikes Over Bang’N (BOB) is a 501(c)(3) community based non-profit organization. Founded in 2013, the purpose of Bikes Over Bang'N is to help at-risk youth in Los Angeles county reach their full potential. The Great Thomas Edison once said, “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” Bikes Over Bang’N believes that life circumstances can be your weakness, or your strength. With every challenge, there is a lesson that prepares you for success. The will to win, the desire to succeed, and the motivation to reach your full potential regardless of the barriers you face are all keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.
Bikes Over Bang'N is an organization who will continue to grow and expand. We have formed partnerships with local school districts, the juvenile court system and Innocent Faces Counseling Agency. Bikes Over Bang’N makes a commitment to provide youth opportunity to develop pro-social relationships, strong interpersonal skills, healthy self-esteem, and hope for the future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be re-established. We foster the self-efficacy that gives youth the commitment to follow through on a path to a successful adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
